EXPERIENCE:
Lois Crane, M. A., a former school psychologist, has been a
mediator and mediation trainer for 13 years. She was the first director of the
Johnson County Small Claims Court Mediation Project, and continues to mediate
for that program and the Sixth Judicial District Divorce and Family Mediation
Program. She also provides divorce mediation services in the Eighth Judicial
District. She has initiated Small Claims Court Mediation Programs in four
southeast Iowa counties and has trained the volunteer mediators who staff those
programs. She trains school faculties and students in peer mediation; and
teaches a one-hour graduate credit course in conflict resolution for Area
Education Agencies.
